Job summary

Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The role is a 0.9 FTE, full‑time position with night shift and every third weekend.

Provide direct patient care, assess and plan individualized patient care, and communicate with physicians about changes in a patient’s condition. ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required; ED/ICU experience is preferred. Generous retirement plan and wellness program are offered.

Qualifications

• MI RN license required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS and TNCC certifications required at next available course.
• ED/ICU nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care.
• Assess and plan individualized patient care.
• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in a patient’s clinical condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing tasks under supervision.
• Cross‑train to ICU as needed.
