Job summary

AdventHealth in WAUCHULA, FL is seeking a driven Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift. You will assess patients, plan and administer care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure, Associate’s degree in Nursing, and BLS certification. ED/CCU experience preferred; Cerner/EPIC EMR knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Florida)
• Associate’s degree in Nursing required

• ED/CCU experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• EPIC experience preferred
• EKG knowledge required

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and data collection.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
• Document care activities in EMR accurately and timely.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for coordinated care.
