Job summary

Wallowa Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated patient care team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through all stages of treatment in a rural community.

The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates each patient’s care plan, working with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current Oregon RN license required.
• BLS/CPR certified or able to obtain upon hire.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred or obtainable upon hire.
• ER and/or OB experience preferred, with willingness to orient to both departments.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and create individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient responses and clinical progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Support a culture of teamwork and clinical excellence.
