Job summary

Salem Transitional Care in Oregon is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the noc shift to lead and support clinical care during the night. You will ensure safe, high-quality care in a calm environment and work with a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include medication administration, clinical documentation, charting, and mentoring CNAs. Prior long-term care experience is preferred, but not required. Join a supportive team focused on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Oregon.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents and patients.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to physicians.
• Complete charting, assessments, and care plans timely.
• Supervise CNAs and nursing staff during the shift.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions.
• Ensure residents are comfortable, safe, and well cared for at night.
• Communicate with residents, families, and teams professionally.
• Follow regulations and nursing standards.
• Foster a positive, team-focused work environment.
