Job summary

Wallowa Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our patient care team. You will provide direct support to nursing staff and assist patients with daily living activities to ensure their safety, comfort and well-being.

Qualifications

• CNA license required in Oregon (I or II).
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to attain on hire.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Strong customer service and professional phone skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding and other basic care needs.
• Take and record vital signs, weights and routine observations.
• Support nursing staff with clinical tasks as appropriate.
• Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Provide emotional support and promote a respectful environment for patients and families.
