Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a 36-hour-per-week night shift. This non-exempt role includes 12-hour shifts from 7 pm to 7 am, with every third weekend and holiday coverage, and a potential signing bonus.

You will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge, monitor patient status, administer medications, and coordinate discharge planning with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS certification is current.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Documents patient care according to standard procedure.
• Develops, coordinates and documents discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluate nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
• Administers medications, performs treatments and assists with procedures as required.
