AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a night shift. You will assess patients, develop SMART care plans with families, administer medications and treatments, and educate patients and their families for discharge.

You will collaborate with doctors, therapists and the care team, document care activities accurately, participate in quality improvement, and ensure safety and HIPAA compliance. RN licensure and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments through observation, interviews, and examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with SMART goals.
• Administer medications and treatments including IV therapy and wound care.
• Provide patient and family education for health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Advocate for patient safety and coordinate with the healthcare team.
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Document care activities accurately in EMR and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and nurses to ensure coordinated care.
