Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, FL, seeks a qualified Registered Nurse to join our night shift team. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and adjust care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and an ADN with a BSN preferred. Expect opportunities for clinical ladder growth within a supportive hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing required.
• Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS certification required.
• licensure or certifications required depending on unit/state.
• Fluency in English required (read, verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; regularly evaluate and revise plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care and ensure effective teamwork.
• Document patient information, actions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Continuously evaluate care plans and outcomes; adjust as needed to improve health results.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to team members to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations promptly and intervene to stabilize patients.
