Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a dedicated care professional to join our team in Rome, GA. This role involves delivering patient care across age and acuity levels, and responding effectively in clinical emergencies.

You will participate in quality initiatives and uphold strict safety and isolation guidelines. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma and has prior bedside patient care experience in acute settings.

Qualifications

• 1+ applicable PCT experience (Preferred)
• Previous bedside patient care in an acute care unit, unit secretary, monitor technician, or equivalent medical experience (Preferred)
• Follows prescribed isolation guidelines, demonstrates PPE use, and enforces safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives.
• Follows isolation guidelines and safety regulations.
• Exhibits a desire to learn and upgrade skills continuously.
