Mercyhealth is seeking a compassionate RN to provide bedside nursing care in a clinical setting. The position supports the Mercyhealth mission with potential nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call hours, and may float to units based on staffing needs and patient care requirements.

Qualifications include ADN at hire with BSN preferred, RN licensure in the practicing state, and CPR/BLS certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• May require specific years of applicable experience to qualify (per department guidelines)

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per policies, standards of care and state laws.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Develops and executes a patient plan of care as prescribed by physician or policy.
