Job summary

Jersey City Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Unit-I. The position is night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) on an hourly basis with every other weekend requirements and part-time status.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a BSN, and an active NJ RN license with BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire. Benefits and total well-being programs are offered as part of RWJBarnabas Health.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ endorsement; BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with medical staff.
• Adhere to NJ State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies; participate in performance improvement.
