Job summary

Highland Health and Rehabilitation, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Bellingham, WA, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the full-time night shift (10pm–6:30am). The role offers a competitive compensation range of $80,000-$114,000+ per year, or $48-$55/hour with night differential.

You will supervise staff, monitor residents, administer medications, develop care plans, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active Washington RN license and degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care preferred (minimum six months).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality patient care to residents and documents observations promptly.
• Communicates with physicians and completes nursing documentation (assessments, orders, progress notes).
• Administers medications as prescribed and monitors patient responses.
• Maintains narcotic records and supports medication management for safety.
• Assists with emergency measures and adheres to Nurse Practice Act and policies.
