Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking an experienced RN for a 19-bed Medical/Surgical unit in Alabama. The role covers nights, 7 pm–7 am, with responsibilities that include direct patient care, updating care plans, and coordinating discharge planning. A strong candidate holds Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification, and a nursing diploma.

Qualifications

• RN licensure or eligibility to be licensed by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification obtained within 1 month of hire (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school and professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per organizational policies, procedures and protocols.
• Implement and communicate patient care plans and condition updates.
• Serve as primary coordinator for interdisciplinary patient care.
• Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.
