Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Production Operator to oversee the daily operation of our site chemical reactors, following written procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met. You will manufacture and monitor batches, load materials, and maintain accurate records.

This full-time role requires teamwork with maintenance, quality control, warehousing, and other departments, plus the ability to work a 2-2-3 night schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in manufacturing or distribution environments.
• At least 1 year monitoring quality of raw materials or finished goods.
• 1 year monitoring gauges, dials or equipment indicators.

Responsibilities

• Operate reactor vessel using computerized control systems and follow batch tickets.
• Stage, prepare, load and weigh raw materials for production.
• Monitor gauges, valves, switches, pumps and other components per production needs.
• Load back batches in reactor rooms and mezzanine areas.
• Oversee safety, cleanliness and proper documentation of materials and finished goods.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality control and warehousing to ensure safe operations.
