Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a manufacturing operator to set up, run, and maintain equipment and processes to produce powder coating products that meet customer specifications.

You will work on a 12-hour shift (6:00pm–6:30am) with a schedule that rotates weekly, perform quality checks, document production logs, operate forklifts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, monitor, operate, and clean automatic and semi-automatic equipment in an efficient and safe manner
• Perform assigned manufacturing tasks
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality
• Keep equipment logs, perform minor repairs, and report breakdowns in a timely manner
• Maintain production records and reporting as required
• Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time
• Safely operate forklift truck, pallet jacks, and other equipment or machinery
• Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies
• Provide technical support and training to other team members
• Contribute ideas to improve or optimize manufacturing procedures
• Keep tools, equipment, and work environment clean and organized daily
• This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.
