Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a manufacturing operator to set up, run, and maintain equipment for paint and coating production. Responsibilities include operating HSDs, pumps, robotics, and filling machines while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution is preferred (1+ year).
• Experience monitoring gauges or machinery indicators to ensure proper operation.
• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and finished goods.
• Experience operating packaging equipment and using material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate paint-making control systems and equipment (HSDs, pumps, valves, robotics, fillers, case packers, labelers, forklifts) safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks with raw materials and finished goods.
• Perform assigned manufacturing tasks and monitor materials for quality.
• Maintain production records and logs; report breakdowns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with policies and SOPs; keep work area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies; provide training as needed.
