Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to join the Adult Medical Emergency Team (AMET), providing rapid, bedside critical care and education to patients and families. You will participate in early interventions and collaborate with ICU staff to improve outcomes.

The AMET RN role requires delivering direct nursing care on nights (7:00pm–7:30am) with every-other weekend and holiday commitments, and contributing to education, quality improvement, and patient discharge

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• One year of current acute care RN experience.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross upon hire or within one year of employment.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
