Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital is seeking an RN for the Adult Medical Emergency Team (AMET). You will respond to emergencies, round within the tower, and coordinate with unit teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.

This PRN role offers exposure across acute care areas and opportunities for cross-training in Critical Care and Emergency Department. Qualified candidates have RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and at least two years of nursing experience; military experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS and ACLS certifications through recognized bodies required.
• External applicants: two years of related nursing experience.
• Internal applicants with less than two years may be considered with CNO review.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor and communicate patients' conditions.
• Coordinate discharge planning with care teams.
• Support Nursing Operations in daily hospital coordination.
