Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking an Operator I (Radial Drill) for the night shift in Tulsa, OK. The role involves reading drawings, setting drill parameters, and ensuring quality while following safety procedures.

You will operate radial drill and related tools, perform measurements, and adhere to Chart Quality Systems. High school diploma or GED plus 6 months manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months prior manufacturing experience.
• Differentiates between drill bits, reamers, spot facers, ring groovers, taps, etc.
• Reads blue prints, micrometers, scale, calipers, square, protractor, verniers, etc measure.

Responsibilities

• Attends, participates and conducts pre-shift and weekly safety meetings.
• Complies with all AXC policies and procedures including Attendance, Code of Conduct, PPE/Dress Code, Teamwork, etc.
• Predictably attends work and be punctual.
• Follow directions and instructions.
• Clock in and out of Time and Attendance, jobs, etc.
• Differentiates between drill bits, reamers, spot facers, ring groovers, taps, etc.
• Reads blue prints, micrometers, scale, calipers, square, protractor, verniers, etc.
• Manages and flips all sizes of headers.
• Works from drawings and layout specs to position and secure work, set drill feed speed.
• Analyzes prints or instructions for discrepancies.
• Closes job or completes operation in Syteline.
• Cross-trains and assists in other areas as needed.
• Troubleshoots machine and operation problems.
• Reads and demonstrates knowledge of Chart Quality Systems.
• Behaves professionally toward colleagues and visitors.
• Follows safety policies and reports unsafe conditions.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Equipment used includes: Crane, hoists, Radial Drill, micrometers, scales, calipers, square, protractor, verniers.
