Job summary

Chart, Inc. in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Quality Technician for the night shift to oversee the quality and performance of Chart products from receipt of materials through fabrication to final test and customer acceptance, following company and industry standards.

This role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and proficiency with MS Office. Candidates should be able to read drawings, coordinate inspections, and participate in ASME/ISO and supplier audits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in quality or manufacturing.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Working experience with weld inspection in ASME; CWI a plus.
• Minimum Level II experience in Liquid Penetrant Testing, Visual Testing, Ultrasonic Testing.

Responsibilities

• Predictably and regularly attend work and be punctual.
• Read and understand documents and drawings.
• Interact politely and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Perform multiple tasks and follow directions.
• Use a computer to communicate, create, and access information.
• Inspect the fabrication process for compliance with specs and standards.
• Coordinate outside customer inspections and communicate holding points.
• Ensure hold points on the inspection checklist are met.
• Prepare Nonconformity Reports when production issues are detected.
• Communicate engineering-related issues to the Engineering Department and production.
• Monitor welding and liquid penetrant testing activities.
• Review test results and mill test reports to stay within parameters.
• Inspect receiving materials for damage and correct heat numbers.
• Perform internal and external audits for ASME, ISO and supplier programs.
• Maintain product traceability through the fabrication process.
