Qualifications

• Ability to read and write
• Experience with operating/maintaining heavy equipment is preferred
• Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions
• Willingness to work night shifts and overtime as required
• Must adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks, water trucks, rock breakers and fuel truck per production needs
• Use front end loaders, dozers, backhoes, graders, excavators and skid steer loaders as required
• Inspect equipment at each shift and report any issues
• Address malfunctions or safety hazards with quarry supervisor if unresolved
• Maintain accurate material counts and communicate changes to quality personnel
• Participate in housekeeping to ensure a safe work environment
• Follow safety, health and environmental policies and promote a culture of safety
