Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions seeks a Quality Technician to join the plant quality team on the night shift in Plainfield, IL. You will lead on-shift quality activities, perform microbiological testing and sensory analyses, and ensure adherence to product specs and standards.

The role requires 1–3 years in a lab/plant setting, familiarity with HPLC, Alcolyzer and related testing equipment, and the ability to train others on basic equipment troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years analytical experience in a lab and plant environment.
• Degree/Diploma in Science or Engineering preferred or 3-5 years of analytical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing of water and products.
• Conduct process audits to monitor compliance with standards.
• Inspect raw materials for conformance to specs.
• Perform sensory and analytical testing on in-process and finished products.
• Develop, implement and maintain testing equipment calibration and maintenance programs.
• Document procedures to ensure consistency in test equipment usage.
