Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a Quality Specialist, QC II, in Houston, TX to inspect parts and assemblies against drawings and specifications. You will initiate non-conformance reports, verify tests, and ensure compliance with quality procedures and customer requirements.

Role requires reading prints, strong problem-solving and communication skills, with training on day shift before moving to nights. Plant operates 24/5 and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Quality Technician or Inspection role.
• Ability to read and interpret prints/drawings/specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; hands-on learner.
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts, assemblies and subassemblies to drawings and prints.
• Initiate non-conformance reports for parts not to spec.
• Ensure units meet quality procedures and customer requirements.
• Initiate corrective actions for recurring quality issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to eliminate root causes of defects.
• Complete and distribute quality records and perform required testing.
• Verify tests on components and assemblies.
