Job summary

QuestSpecialty is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the 3rd shift (10pm–6am) in Brenham, TX. You will inspect materials, components, and finished goods, document results, and collaborate with production teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires attention to detail, experience in manufacturing QC, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Non-climate-controlled environment with safety and quality focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to quality control processes and inspection techniques.
• Basic understanding of quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Document inspection results and maintain detailed quality records in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Identify, report, and assist in investigating quality issues, non-conformances, and deviations, recommending corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to support quality improvement initiatives and process optimization.
• Calibrate and maintain quality control equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of testing procedures.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
