Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Quality Engineer - Manufacturing – Level 3 (night shift) to join our Promontory, UT team. The role focuses on establishing and maintaining Mission Assurance policies and controls to ensure product quality and compliance with AS9100 and government requirements.

The position is onsite with a 4/10 schedule or 9/80 options, starting at 8:00pm. Bachelor’s in STEM with experience or advanced degrees with fewer years are acceptable; security clearance is

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5 years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 3 years OR PhD with 1 year (from Basic Qualifications).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Proven technical aptitude and problem-solving for complex issues.
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Understand design intent, failure modes, requirements and specifications of the product and manufacturing processes.
• Identify opportunities and develop plans for improvements.
• Provide guidance interpreting governmental regulations and internal policies.
• Serve as liaison between Promontory S&MA and other organizations including government agencies.
• Ensure inspections, SPC analyses, and audits are conducted per requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
