Job summary

Hempel Paints Kuwait Company W.L.L. is seeking a Quality Technician I for the onsite Dallas facility. The role supports the Quality Manager with daily QC testing, color matching, and batch documentation.

You will work in a lab environment handling solvents and raw materials while ensuring safety and accuracy. Essential duties include testing production batches, updating QC databases, and assisting in evaluating nonconforming batches.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in analytical lab or paint environment preferred.
• Basic chemistry knowledge and ability to work with formulas.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook/Excel) and data entry.
• Ability to operate in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily QC tests for production batches and incoming materials.
• Develop batch adjustments to meet quality standards.
• Test and approve production batches for correct color match.
• Document color data and update QC database entries.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and safety compliance.
