Job summary

Behr Paint Company is seeking a Quality Technician I to support manufacturing and quality operations by preparing and testing paint samples to ensure products meet QC standards. Full training will be provided on equipment and procedures, with emphasis on accurate documentation.

You will work on quality checks, raw materials, or product improvements, recording results and maintaining lab records for product evaluation. This is a full-time 2nd shift role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Detail-oriented with accurate testing and recordkeeping.
• Willingness to learn; training provided on equipment and procedures.
• Ability to document results and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Basic computer skills; SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and test paint samples to meet quality standards.
• Perform tests such as viscosity, gloss, density, pH, and scrub testing.
• Record results and maintain documentation for product evaluation.
• Report equipment or process issues and keep the lab tidy.
