Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in the United States is seeking a Quality Control Technician to assist with quality procedures for production batches and new raw materials.

You will compile, tabulate and summarize QC data for analysis, communicate deviations, and maintain statistical records in D365, enabling timely quality improvements.

This role emphasizes working with limited supervision to ensure products meet prescribed standards and to support calibration and tooling checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Proficient math and written communication skills.
• Excel proficiency required.
• Up to three years in QC field helpful.
• Prior batchmaking experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Check production batches by comparison to standards.
• Advise batchmaker of adjustments to apply to product batch.
• Recheck batch after adjustments until within standard specifications.
• Use proper analytical tools to compare product to standards and to samples.
• Record results of comparison in D365.
• Calibrate QC/QA equipment as required.
