Ahold Delhaize USA seeks a Food Quality Assurance & Safety professional to support night shift operations at the Assonet distribution center, ensuring fresh, wholesome products meet safety standards through detailed inspections and precise recordkeeping.

You will work with cross-functional teams, apply Seafood HACCP protocols, and drive continuous quality improvements while collaborating with buyers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in produce/seafood/retail quality control is preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Perform hands-on inspections of inbound deliveries to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain knowledge of USDA, FDA, and state/local regulations.
• Conduct Seafood HACCP inspections and complete required records.
• Monitor banana ripening and ensure proper storage and rotation.
• Collaborate with buyers to enforce quality specs.
• Investigate store complaints and initiate corrective actions.
