Job summary

Mannington Mills, Inc. is seeking a QA Technician to inspect materials, products, and work in progress, ensuring conformance to specifications. The role requires strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to lead and motivate others. Night shift: 6pm–6am, 2/3/2 schedule with a $1.50/hr night differential.

You will perform audits, collect samples, read dials and meters, document findings, and work with production teams to resolve issues and prevent non-conformance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Experience documenting processes, data and procedures.
• Familiarity with standard QA concepts and procedures.
• Able to plan and complete goals using experience and judgment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to specifications.
• Collect samples for testing and compute findings.
• Read dials and meters to verify equipment and product conformance.
• Perform conformance audits and recommend corrective actions.
• Test and measure finished products to ensure adherence to specs.
• Record results and compare with specifications.
• Communicate inspection results and coordinate with vendors and teams.
• Notify supervisor of deviations or needed maintenance.
• Document findings, processes and procedures.
• Lead troubleshooting of quality-related problems in products.
• Coordinate with slab manufacturing quality team on slab issues.
• Provide consistent feedback to production on A/Q issues.
