Job summary

QuestSpecialty in Wayne, Michigan is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the 10:30pm–7:00am shift. You will perform inspections of materials, components and finished products to verify conformance to specifications and support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

The role requires a high school diploma (associates preferred), experience in manufacturing QA, and proficiency with measurement tools.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
Experience in manufacturing with quality control exposure.
Basic understanding of ISO 9001 or similar standards.
Proficiency with measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and tests on materials, components and finished products.
Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
Identify and report quality issues, supporting corrective actions.
Collaborate with production and supply chain to drive improvements.
Calibrate and maintain QC equipment, ensuring accuracy.
Participate in audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
