Job summary

Continental Dairy Facilities in Coopersville, Michigan, a Select Milk Producers facility, seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to perform analytical and microbiological evaluations of raw, pasteurized, and final products.

You will operate lab equipment, conduct daily quality audits, maintain records, and ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, AOAC, GFSI, and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science, Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry or related field.
• Five of last ten years' experience in dairy laboratory testing acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Operate lab equipment (spectrometer, FTIR, moisture analyzers, pH meter, etc.).
• Perform daily quality audits and logs.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and stocked labs.
• Record results confidentially and report deviations promptly.
• Adhere to GMP, USDA, FDA, AOAC, GFSI and safety regulations.
