Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Livermore, CA, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician 1 to perform detailed inspections and support both in-process and final checks on advanced probing technology products.

Strong inspection skills, microscope proficiency, and teamwork with engineering and operations are essential. The role operates on a 6:00pm–6:15am schedule with a 15% night shift differential, and includes data entry, documentation, and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Strong technical inspection skills.
• Proficiency with microscopes and measurement tools.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect & QC — perform detailed defect inspections using the microscope and precision tools.
• Nonconformance — identify nonconforming product and generate reports; support investigations and corrective actions.
• Data & Documentation — verify data, maintain inventory records, follow SOPs.
• Teamwork & Operations — work in a shift-based team; meet daily inspection and production quotas; 3x4 schedule.
