Job summary

River Oaks Hospital in New Orleans, LA, seeks an experienced RN House Supervisor for the night shift to oversee staff across the campus and ensure high-quality psychiatric care. You will perform clinical assessments, implement treatment plans, and supervise medication administration in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include documentation, patient education for residents and families, and adherence to ANA standards and hospital policies. BSN preferred; Louisiana RN license required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure with Louisiana Board of Nursing is required.
• BSN degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of clinical psychiatric nursing experience required, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to a variety of stakeholders.
• Ability to perform business math and work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision campus-wide on the night shift.
• Assess residents, implement treatment plans and evaluate response.
• Complete documentation and administer medications as prescribed.
• Provide health care education for residents and families.
• Adhere to ANA Standards of Practice and facility policies.
