Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a RN - Adult Psychiatry for Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. The role is part-time (32 hours/week) with night shifts (11:00pm–7:30am) and rotating weekends, located on the Evanston campus.

The RN provides safe, compassionate care on a designated unit, employing the nursing process and coordinating with the team for optimal patient outcomes. Requirements include IL nursing licensure, NLN-accredited program completion, and BLS/CPR certification; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

IL nursing license required.
NLN-accredited nursing program graduate; BSN preferred.
BLS/CPR certification required.
Adult psychiatry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit.
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
