Job summary

ProMedica Flower Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Psychiatric Unit on the night shift. This full-time role (36 hours weekly) centers on patient-centered care, coordinating every patient’s plan of care, and collaborating with families and the health care team.

The RN will assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care while ensuring safety and quality outcomes. Ohio licensure, CPR certification, and ongoing CEUs are required, with a preference for a BSN.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training.
• Twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period; at least 1 hour related to Ohio nurse practice code.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient's plan of care and communicate with patient, families, and health care team.
• Assess, formulate nursing diagnoses, and plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals.
• Strive to improve patient care, work environment, and staff satisfaction.
