Job summary

ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Psychiatric Unit on a part-time night shift. The RN will coordinate a patient’s plan of care, interact with patients, families and the health care team, and continually assess and adjust the care plan to improve outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license, current CPR training, and unit-specific certifications as needed. Ohio CE hours are mandated for licensure renewal while maintaining high standards of

Qualifications

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training.
• Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period.
• At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient’s plan of care and communicate with patient, families and health care team.
• Assess and formulate nursing diagnoses; plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve care goals.
