Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Psychiatric Associate for the Station 12 Adult Mental Health unit in Minneapolis. You will deliver patient care under RN direction, support therapeutic milieu, and participate in treatment planning for high-acuity patients with co-occurring medical issues.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in mental health, healthcare, or school settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of patient and staff by conducting safety checks, room and unit searches, de-escalation, milieu management, and basic daily living activities as outlined in treatment plans.
• Performs patient hygiene, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, eating and mobility support as part of ADL assistance.
• Participates in treatment team activities and contributes to interdisciplinary care with nursing and other staff.
