Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore’s Sarah’s House is seeking a Program Assistant for the night shift to provide information, assistance, and security for guests and staff. Responsibilities include maintaining safety, supporting residents, and handling administrative tasks in a compassionate, trauma-informed environment.

Qualified candidates will have CPR/First Aid within six months, basic computer skills, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be CPR and/or First Aid certified within six months of employment.
• Ability to utilize computer systems and software for program tasks.
• Strong customer-service orientation with respectful interactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
• Monitor policy compliance, report incidents, and assist in emergency interventions as required.
• Assist guests and volunteers in program activities with a courteous, supportive attitude.
• Maintain logs and files related to program activities and events.
• Explain residents' rights and the grievance process to clients.
