Job summary

MetOx International, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Production Technician I to operate specialized equipment, manufacture, process and package high-quality products in a clean, climate-controlled, high-tech environment.

You will monitor processes with advanced control systems, learn to minimize equipment disruptions, support engineers with design improvements, and work a night shift 4:00 pm to 4:00 am, four days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED and technical coursework.
• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing or mechanical support role.
• Preferred: Associate's degree in applied science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment following standard procedures under supervision.
• Adheres to safety culture and environmental safety practices.
• Completes training and certifications for assigned equipment.
• Conducts regular inspections of facility areas and equipment.
• Maintains clean work areas using 5S methodology.
• Performs basic TPM maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Supports in receiving goods, including gas cylinders and dewars.
