Job summary

Van Drunen Farms is seeking a production associate to operate and monitor equipment used in drying, freezing, and packaging. You will assemble, sanitize, and set up equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role supports shift transitions and continuous improvement in a collaborative team. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and at least six months of production experience with basic math and ERP scanner use.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of production experience or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and computer skills; ERP scanners.
• Ability to perform basic math, report weights, and track inventory.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment across drying, freezing, wet/dry processing, sifting, grinding, boxing and packaging.
• Assemble, disassemble, clean, sanitize, and set up equipment and work areas.
• Follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and apply LOTO procedures.
• Perform CCP checks and report product quality or handling concerns.
• Support production goals with shift transitions and cleaning activities.
• Collaborate with team members and assist training/new employees.
