Van Drunen Farms is seeking a production operator for the night shift, Tuesday through Saturday, 6:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. The role involves operating and monitoring diverse processing equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards, and supporting shift transitions.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of production experience. Forklift experience is a plus, with opportunities for ongoing training and advancement within a values-driven company.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of six months of production experience.
• Basic reading, writing and computer skills; ERP scanners required.
• Ability to perform basic math; count items; report weights; track inventory adjustments.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor production equipment across drying, freezing, wet and dry processing, sifting, grinding, boxing, and packaging.
• Assemble, disassemble, clean, sanitize, and set up equipment and work areas to support efficient production operations.
• Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, participate in safety training and meetings, and apply Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Perform Critical Control Point (CCP) checks, follow GMPs and SOPs, and promptly report product quality or handling concerns.
• Support production goals by preparing for shift transitions, completing scheduled cleaning and sanitation activities, and working overtime as needed.
• Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively across departments, and assist with training and onboarding new employees.
