Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the southwest Cleveland area, seeks a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to lead overnight manufacturing operations. This hands-on leadership role oversees production, quality, safety, and daily operations across the floor while supervising hourly production employees.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, experience in a union environment, and strong knowledge of safety and quality systems; salary is

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience working in a union manufacturing environment and/or supervising union employees.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, safety, and quality systems.
• Experience with production documentation and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise hourly production employees to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all safety policies.
• Coordinate personnel and equipment to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to quality standards and operating procedures.
• Conduct production and quality audits and address issues through corrective actions.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve operational challenges.
• Train, coach, and develop employees while fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Track production metrics, complete shift documentation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
