Job summary

Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a night shift within a designated area, delivering safety, quality, and production goals in real time. You will own shift execution and develop the team on that shift while modeling the Weaver Culture in all actions.

This opening is on the Nights rotation, typically 4:30 p.m. to 4:45 a.m., with 2/2/3 shift-based scheduling and weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English to perform duties.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of food safety, quality standards and production KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety protocols and SOPs across shift operations.
• Identify safety issues, determine root causes, implement long-term resolutions.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the production floor.
• Escalate unresolved safety concerns to Department Manager and EH&S Director.
• Empower team to own food safety and product integrity; ensure GMPs and sanitation standards are met.
• Verify sanitation, non-conforming materials, and startup verifications; manage quality incidents.
• Monitor line efficiency, OEE, scrap, waste; adjust operations for downtime or demand changes.
• Supervise daily activities of team members and line leads; provide coaching and feedback.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings; promote cross-training and alignment with Weaver Culture.
• Communicate effectively with Maintenance, Sanitation, and Quality teams.
• Proficient in AS400, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, LEDS, Safety Chain; complete downtime reports.
