Job summary

Covia is looking for a dynamic night shift Production Supervisor who will directly supervise the production and shipping operations in Cleburne, TX. You will ensure that output is maximized at the lowest possible cost while upholding safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with leadership to meet customer orders.

The role emphasizes hands-on supervision of hourly staff, scheduling, problem solving, and a commitment to Covia’s safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, SharePoint

Responsibilities

• Supervise the production and shipping operations to maximize output at the lowest cost while maintaining safety and quality.
• Schedule hourly production staff and manage timecards/vacations.
• Maintain workplace safety and ensure MSHA compliance and Covia safety policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements through Continuous Improvement activities.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members to sustain performance.
