Job summary

Covia is seeking a dynamic Night Shift Production Supervisor in Cleburne, TX. You will directly supervise the production and shipping teams, ensuring output is maximized at the lowest cost while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating hourly workers, planning production to meet orders, and driving continuous improvement. GreatCandidates will have strong communication and leadership skills and a solid MS Office background.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise hourly production employees on the night shift to meet plant demands.
  • Schedule timecards and vacations; coordinate shift coverage.
  • Plan production to meet customer orders and maintain in-specification output.
  • Promote safety and ensure compliance with MSHA regulations and Covia policies.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Coviais looking for a dynamicnight shift Production Supervisor who will have a positive impact on the Operationsteam at itsCleburne, TX.location. The Production Supervisor will directly supervise the production and shipping operations to ensure that output is maximized at the lowest cost while maintaining safety and quality requirements.

The successful candidate will have the following Key Accountabilities:
  • Understands requirements of own job and those of reports to effectively accomplish goals and objectives in a timely
  • Inspire high levels of performance from peers and reports through sound
  • Utilize resources effectively to maximize production, lower costs, and eliminate
  • Establishes, promotes and enforces high standards for
  • Ensures that company assets are used as according to their designed function for maximum
  • Plan production in a manner such that a sufficient quantity of in-specification product is available for packaging and loading to meet customer order
  • Present data as needed to support ideas and recommendations in written and verbal
  • Plans activities to achieve personal, plant and corporate
  • Complete projects in a timely
  • Hands-on supervision and scheduling of all hourly production employees to meet the demands of the plant, including timecard preparations and vacation
