Job summary

SunOpta, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor (day shift) to plan and manage the day-to-day allocation of resources on a designated shift. You will ensure safe, high-quality, cost-effective production while coaching team members and reviewing performance with Production Management.

The role involves leading daily meetings, maintaining GMP standards, and collaborating across functions to meet targets and drive continuous improvement at the Midlothian, TX plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility.
• Associate degree in a related field.
• Preferred: bilingual in Spanish.
• LEAN Manufacturing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage day-to-day allocation of resources on the day shift to achieve targets.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
• Conduct daily production meetings with shift personnel.
• Audit workstations for SOP compliance and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with warehouse, QA, maintenance, and finance to meet targets.
• Maintain GMP and housekeeping standards.
• Report shift production data and variances.
