Job summary

Sun Chemical seeks a Production Supervisor in Franklin, OH, 2nd shift. You will direct hourly personnel, emphasize safety, quality, and throughput while maintaining cost controls. You’ll train staff, coordinate with quality control, and drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma and Lean tools.

The role requires planning and directing production, maintaining records, and ensuring on-time manufacturing with safe practices. Strong MS Office and SAP proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (chemistry or chemical engineering background ideal).
• Three (3) years minimum experience as a production supervisor or process technician.
• Competence in MS Office software and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Directs hourly personnel with focus on safety, quality and productivity.
• Train personnel in safe working practices and coordinate safety meetings.
• Plan, organize, and direct work of production operators.
• Prepare and maintain production, inventory, and employee records.
• Execute production schedule as set by site management.
