Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Vacaville, CA is seeking a dynamic Production Supervisor for our night shift to lead a team of skilled production associates, coaching and developing them to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency goals.

You will monitor schedules, implement lean principles and 5S, maintain production records, and collaborate with other departments to resolve operational challenges while upholding OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.
• Technical acumen including MS Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in glass manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of production associates, fostering high performance.
• Maintain a hands-on presence on the production floor to address issues.
• Ensure safety compliance and a secure working environment.
• Monitor and optimize production schedules to meet quality and delivery targets.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.
• Coach team members through performance feedback and training.
• Review production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Drive process improvements through team engagement.
• Ensure product quality through standardized work and QC measures.
• Support customer-focused processes aligned with goals.
