Job summary

Marvin Composites is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor for the Night Shift to lead a production shift at the Fargo, ND pultrusion plant. The role focuses on safety, quality, and productivity, developing associates, assigning work, and driving key metrics on the floor.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing and a two-year degree or higher, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting and a two-year degree or higher (both preferred).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively lead and support your team.
• Analytical ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership skills guiding and supporting a team.

Responsibilities

• Actively develop and manage the Culture of your team to align with MC mission and values, as measured by survey scores, turnover, retention, and other key metrics of the position.
• Help create safe working environment by holding associates accountable.
• Ensure maximum Quality and Productivity with your team during your shift by developing associates and distributing work.
• Ensure information is accurate and communicated in timely manner.
• Hold associates accountable to performing to the expectations of their position.
• Utilize labor efficiently to maintain OTD, FG/MH, Setups completed to schedule.
• Identify and Drive improvements through coaching, mentoring and problem solving
